Terms of Service

These terms explain what you can expect from DoseNudge and your responsibilities when using it to support someone’s care.

Effective and last updated:

1. About these terms

DoseNudge is a medication reminder and care coordination service created by Anil Anand in India. These terms are between you and Anil Anand and apply to dosenudge.app, the web app and its reminder features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Contact us at support@dosenudge.app.

2. What DoseNudge does

DoseNudge lets caregivers organize medication schedules, invite trusted people to a care circle, send opted-in WhatsApp reminders and record dose responses. Caregivers may receive alerts when a dose has not been confirmed.

DoseNudge provides organizational reminders and tracking. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, prescriptions or emergency monitoring. A recorded response is a report from a person, not proof that medication was taken. An unconfirmed dose does not establish that it was missed.

Follow the directions of a qualified healthcare professional for medication use and missed doses. Do not change a treatment or dose based on DoseNudge. If urgent medical help is needed, contact local emergency services or a healthcare professional directly.

3. Accounts and authority to manage care

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these terms to create an account. Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for the people you invite and the permissions you assign within a care circle.

Only enter or share another person’s information with their informed permission or lawful authority. When managing a child’s care, obtain the necessary parent or guardian permission. Explain the service and its privacy practices to the person whose information you add. Check phone numbers, medication instructions, timezones and schedules for accuracy and keep them up to date.

4. WhatsApp reminders and availability

WhatsApp messages require recipient opt-in and a working WhatsApp number. Caregiver alerts require a separate opt-in. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out; caregivers can also disable their alerts in account settings. Do not opt someone in without permission or re-enable messages after they opt out without renewed permission.

Reminders depend on correct schedules, internet access and third-party services including WhatsApp. Messages and alerts may be delayed, fail or arrive more than once. Keep another way to remember medication and check in directly when needed. Do not rely on DoseNudge as the sole safeguard for time-critical treatment.

WhatsApp and other provider terms apply to your use of their services. Your usual mobile or internet charges may apply. DoseNudge is an independent service and is not a medical service provided or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use DoseNudge only for lawful, authorized care coordination.
  • Do not send spam, harass people, upload unlawful content or disclose information you do not have permission to share.
  • Do not attempt to access another care circle, bypass permissions, disrupt the service or misuse its messaging features.
  • Do not impersonate another person or represent DoseNudge as a healthcare professional or emergency service.

6. Your information and our service

You retain your rights in the information you provide. You authorize us to store, process and transmit it as needed to provide DoseNudge, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the permissions needed to provide it. Rights in the DoseNudge name, design and service remain with their respective owners; using the service does not transfer those rights to you.

7. Payments

DoseNudge does not currently collect payments through this website. If paid features are introduced, their prices, billing terms and any cancellation or refund terms will be shown before you choose to purchase them. These terms do not authorize a future charge.

8. Ending use and account deletion

You can stop using DoseNudge, disable reminders or delete your account through account settings. Before deleting an account that is a circle’s only owner, transfer ownership or delete that care circle. Deleting your account does not automatically delete shared records belonging to a remaining circle. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. We may also change or discontinue features. Where practicable and lawful, we will give notice of changes that materially affect access to the service. You can contact support@dosenudge.app about an access restriction or your records.

9. Service limitations and responsibility

We aim to provide a useful service, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, accurate information supplied by others, delivery of every reminder or a particular health outcome. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without additional warranties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by service interruptions, third-party delivery failures or inaccurate information you provide. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits your mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.

10. Applicable law, updates and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory rights and protections that apply to you. You may raise a concern with Anil Anand at support@dosenudge.app. This does not restrict your right to seek a remedy from a competent court or authority.

We may update these terms as DoseNudge changes. The date above identifies the current version. We will give notice of material changes where required by law and request renewed agreement where necessary. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
